Hey, I’m Erin!
From a young age, I was known to be a leader. This trait was highlighted in my philanthropy work, dance and hockey teams, and high school leadership course. After coming to college, I found a deep love for sports communications. I put this passion into my first internship with California Hockey Productions, managing all communication in and around this business. As I have always had a profound love for hockey, there was no position better fit for me.
In this management position, I have developed skills in graphic design, email relations, event planning, and social media engagement. I have expanded my knowledge of what makes a successful post, ways to increase engagement where it may have otherwise been low, and how to communicate with a large group of people properly. I work well with others while also taking charge and being able to lead any team she is on to success.
Recently, I have been selected as a community relations intern for the Nashville Predators NHL team. Here I hope to gain a better understanding of hands-on work in the hockey industry, work alongside and learn from talented individuals who have succeeded in positions similar to the one I will be in, and be a leader for young women aspiring to work in sports.
